UK Parliament Week

Our School Council members from Years 1-6 were fortunate to visit the Houses of Parliament, during UK Parliament Week (14-20th November).

The children had audio tours around the building, including Westminster Hall where the Queen was lying-in-state.

Our School Councillors also had the chance to meet Apsana Begum, who is the MP for Poplar and Limehouse. She talked about her job and responsibilities as an MP and we hope to see her in school soon.
