Mandala Lab for Well-Being

Years 3 - 6 classes went on a trip to the Mandala lab, an interactive installation that invites curiosity about our emotions. The class were encouraged to use their senses to be focused on self-awareness and awareness of others. They could see, smell, touch, and breathe their way through the space, designed to inspire connection, empathy, and learning.

“I felt calm and peaceful in the breathing space” (Felipe)

“Hitting the gong with the stick was really fun, it’s so loud but the sound disappears in the water” (Nicole)

“Some of the smells make me feel happy and some are disgusting. I love the smell of candy floss” (Aliyah)
